Muscovy keepers share your pics!

Here are my guys a few days ago, right around the 4-month mark. Got a great shot of the whitish one in flight. Also, I had always assumed they were males, but at 4 months they are making trilling noises, plus their flight feathers grew in long before their caruncling started to grow. And older ducks seem to want to mount the black one.
That duck looks so much like my girl! Her chest has a similar pattern and then dark black/ green feathers on top. He or she is beautiful

hi there first time duck owner here still learning on them lol but they are soooooooooooooooooooooo adorable am loving them dearly

i got 5 little beauties that are now about a week old. last night i picked them up a little drake a couple days old. is 1 drake to 5 girls a good match?

they love playing outside in the heat and then inside at night. Is that all good? i have a kids pool that they love having a blast in as well.

Super cute little ducklings. 1/5 is fine, but at one week I don't know about them being outside all day. How warm is it? Are they in a completely in closed space with a top so birds can't swoop down and get them? Are you outside with them the whole time? I took my ducks outside as ducklings and even with me right next to them and my dog right next to them a cat trie to grab one. We had them inside until 3 or 4 weeks, then outside with a heat lamp and in a completely in closed space where no cats or birds could get them. With out a mama duck they might get to cold. They are only babies and in the wild would be able to huddle with there mama to keep warm. They don't have all there feathers yet.

thanks, it has been in the high 80 to low 90's they are completely closed when outside. but the afternoon heat starts to reside i bring them back in. they don't seem to like their heat lamp they just like to cuddle and keep warm inside the house.

Well as long as the seem fine and it's Keeps anything out. We put a heat lamp on one side if there outside pen so here ad there they could warm up, but you also have more ducklings to warm each other ;)

I don't have any ducks now, but when I was young, we had 2 or 3 large green ducks with white heads and breast. They were beautiful and laid humongous eggs. They were very quiet and tame, and did not Quack, but made little wobble-wobble noises. I thought I remembered them being called Muscovy ducks, but I was pretty young, so that might not be quite right. When I look up breed pictures, almost all the ones I see have really unexpected comb/wattle type growths on their heads and are mottled in color, and the ones in my yard did not have that. Any ideas what the breed might have been? Thanks.
