I will, but its gonna be a while, when do muscovies begin to lay? And, if a muscovy sits on both (assuming purebred) magpie and muscovy eggs, will she leave the muscovy eggs once the magpie/mapie pekin cross eggs hatch?@PoultryQueen101 the actual duck! He's a messthe man had other "black and white ducks" (he was meaning Muscovies) so Quacks could be all scovy or mixed. If you get any magpie/pekin/muscovy duckling post pictures!
Also, anyone know when magpies begin to lay? Ive heard pekins begin around 7 months, so like, 5 months to go... and the others are around the same age, possibly younger, but most likely older..
As to my first question, it probably wont be a problem with 3 muscovy hens, 1 magpie hen, and 1 pekin hen... though I know pekins rarely go broody.
