Muscovy keepers share your pics!

Ok everyone I have a question. I have a duckling where the egg is darkly shadowed around part of the egg, almost like some bad eggs look before blowing up. It is internilly pipped but not externally. I do know that the duck eggs are tough. I sprayed some warm water on the egg today. Do you think it will be ok? Or do you think it needs help

If it's a little dark spot, like 1/4 of an inch, it's most likely where the duckling is try to pip. When I see those I pip for them. Have a picture of it somewhere... They're due today, right?

No not a small stop like 3/4 of the egg...

Candle it, then make a small hole where you think it's beak would be. Be careful to break just the shell in case it's still alive and not ready. Slowly make hole larger until you can see inside better. Post back what you see.

So is everybody confident Pip is a drakelet?
He was 9 weeks old yesterday when I took these pics and if definitely a drakelet I will have to sell him today :(
