Muscovy keepers share your pics!

Yay! I've had 23 babies hatch this year! What a successful year unfortunately I now don't have a lot of room for any more, maybe like one or 7 more but that's about it

4 babies hatched yesterday and one this morning :) I'll post picks later as well as some of the others y'all haven't seen yet !

so cute! typical scovie under everything and anything lol
There´s a big old tree down near the marsh with strange old roots that make nooks, just right for duck nests.

They look young.

Ok duckling update, its navel is really large, just the hole, it looks like its yolk sack started coming out so I carefully removed it from the shell. I put veterycin on it and the remaining sac. The duckling was upside down in egg so now im very worried the others may be as well too as I have yet to see any improvement from yesterday. Its been pecking at the shell, since yesterday afternoon and still no improvement.
Don´t worry so much. Ducklings take longer than chicks. Goslings are even worse!! I heard my ducklings tapping yesterday pm, and only one pip yet. the rest are still tapping. Babies with the yolk unabsorbed are best left alone. It usually gets absorbed as the blood vessels recede, and then baby´s ready. I hope it´s strong enough to survive.

the baby is out of shell is the issue, the duckling has been tapping since idk how long and no progress. Im worried that others are upside down too and thats why its not getting out, or progressing

I am not suggesting that you start poking holes in your eggs, but this is what a wrong ender might look like:

This is a Muscovy that tried to pip at the wrong end.

This is the whole I made for it.
