How´s the little thing today? What a shame you´re having a bad time of it with the ducklings. Could be in-breeding, but also could be dirty eggs, and, of course, incubation not quite being right, which is why I leave all mine under the muscovies, as they do such a fantastic job.
I can only get Baytril here, it´s for cats and dogs, but a tiny amount is ok for birds, too. Otherwise I use ACV in water, honey, coconut oil, teat tree oil, etc etc, natural products to help to heal. Of course, if the infection´s got inside, it´s much more difficult to save them. What a shame, I thought that with the care you were giving it, it would be fine. :(

My hens have hatched out the 13 expected ducklings. Will take some pics later. Over half of them will be barred. :)

This is my drake (bumblebee). He is almost 8 weeks. Is he huge or is he normal sized for a drake?
They can sure grow fast, he looks like a big boy usually by 8 weeks they are so much bigger than the girls they do look abnormal but he is normal. very pretty Scovy's too.

This is my crew. I love them! Almost 8 weeks

they were under the hen, I took them out 2 days after hatch day due to them having trouble externally pipping.. duckling 1 has passed away during the night. So we have 3 ducklings. The chocolates are 2 generations in, but I was told they will be ok as long as I dont breed their offspring.. I found someone who would trade my drake for a solid white. So hopefully this will all be fixed.
