Muscovy keepers share your pics!

You guys, I have sad news :( Yesterday and today I've seen Kristof getting on top of Ana and pecking her head. So it looks like Kristof is a boy. Ana is so small were worried Kristof will hurt her, but with Elsa also being a drake were worried they might kill her. My husband saw Kristof today pecking Ana's head to keep her down and then getting on top of her and said he will have to take care if him tonight. This is are nicest duck and my sons favorite and all my daycare kids favorite. I really thought he was a girl and now here we are two drakes and one duck. I'm going to take my son somewhere while my husband does the dirty work. He's only four, it's not something he needs to see.

if hes your fave an sons fave, cull the other drake and keep him?

The other two are both anconas, this was are only Muscovy and Ana, are Ancona girl, is really small. Kristof is being really rough and is so much bigger and a different breed.

Also if we keep both anconas we can hatch out eggs to have ducklings and keep two girls and sell the rest. We wanted ducks for eggs, so they were pets. I just wasn't in the mind set that these would ever be eating ducks.

I didnt realize they were different breeds.

I know, otherwise we would keep Kristof. When we got the ducks we were only getting anconas, but the feed store had a five day old Muscovy that no one had taken and we didn't want it all alone so took the Muscovy too. If they were all muscovys I would keep Kristof.

My Ronald is 5-6 Months old now, and she's got some identity issues...
When she was younger she decided that she didn't like the other Muscovies because they were too mean and stubborn. So she started hanging with my 3 other ducks (all of different breeds: Indian Runner, Welsh Harlequin and a Crested Call). Now she won't stop talking!
She almost makes an actual 'Quack' noise similar to my Call duck!

All the time, she chatters away, it's pretty funny, she just won't shut up!

She's got 2 of my Muscovies utterly confused, and my baby drake (3mnths) still peeps all the time, he hates hissing and huffing, haha. Oops, I guess there are some issues with a mixed breed household!

Although, I think the funniest thing is watching my bantam hens tell my 5.5Kg drake he's not allowed to eat his food! He's such a push over, he backs away from them!
