Can you put some antibacterial product on it, wash it thoroughly, i am a massive fan of wonder dust, it's actually for horses but works awesome on ducks.

thank you so much. The baby was barely hanging on. Was spreaded out and very weak, but was still alive.

Those that keep having issues with yolk sac infections should consider getting some Baytril. It won't save all of them, but it might save a few.
