Oh, I like 'em....just don´t know what to call 'em!!!!
I'm the same way I know pied because i have them and blue and fawns because I have them and white because... and blk and whats the other??? well anyway I just can't keep up with all the colors etc. Just love to see all they come in though. We'll leave the colors to others like learycow and Ian they are usually my go to's but Ian hasn't been on in a while being in Australia he is like you enjoying spring time I imagine and all the ducklings hatching.

Question - I candled said sweet girls eggs yesterday because she was on 18 and to be honest, I was hoping some were clear lol. Only 1 was and 1 other, I noticed, has a loose/detached air sac. I've moved that 1 to the bator as it is still alive and growing.
Previously when the girls have brooded on eggs and this has happened the embryo has died and turned to slush late in incubation.
Is there any hope for this egg making it to hatch?

i mean as long as it keeps growing, how far along is it?, if it does continue to grow, the only way you can see if its going to hatch is if it starts moving, then you'll have to poke a hole in the egg so it can breathe, and keep the bator humid in order for it not to dry out

Hey y'all, the girl with the swollen cruncle bean, it turned black, like black black, well not black black more of a red black color, its weird so i didn't tie a string around it , because it looks like its gonna fall off any day now, and I'm ready with the medicine and stuff and ill post a picture later

Guys my babies are growing up

but at the same time I'm happy

, i have 16 babies right now and let me say they are quite a handful like 6 of them are still inside and they are started feather picking/ eating so i had to separate them into 2 groups of 2 and two more cages holding one, one of the babies was the main culprit and the other baby thats by itself kept getting picked on since she's the only white one out of the group so her white juvenile feathers kept sticking out to them.

Oh and i finally got a full white head in my clutch of six!!! and one will probably have a white head after a year old. so I'm extraordinarily happy right now since white heads are my thing !!!!!. I'll post pictures later

Plus i have an egg( 1 egg) scheduled to hatch next week
Hey Buck, I thought chocolate was your thing! LOL Got a lot of those at the RV park!
