Muscovy keepers share your pics!

She flew back into the run this morning. she is not very friendly, so she won't come to me. I can probably slowly walk her into the coop and then catch her. it won't be easy though.
That's how I get mine I either walk them in or wait till they go in on their own then I go in and close the door.

I only have 1 that will let me pet him willingly he is my imprinted drake all the rest I have to catch.

The people I got them from, just let them free range and didn't feed them or anything, so they are pretty crazy. I've had my drake three years now, so he has gotten much calmer, but my hens are still pretty wild.

Very true, foxes are everywhere we have seen quite a few here and I'm sure there are many more, I think what keeps most preds away during daylight is my dogs barking, having lil dachshunds they love to bark. They aren't in the fence with the flock but just being close may deter preds from coming around. Now Hawks is another story, they have been coming around quite a bit lately now that the leaves are off the trees. I have put out more predator tape

Yeah hawks are no good I have a bunch around my coop but they never touch'me I think my turkeys scare them because their really big and my turkey tom will gobble at them while everyone else runs for hiding

Yay on your duck coming back!

Our greyhounds are 11 years old, we're thinking of getting a LGD, but don't know much, except it's going to take a couple years for us to train one.

Mostly black i believe is what's called Wild Type, not sure if there is a name for the white headed blk ones, I have a couple of the blk with white heads. Pretty ducks.
