Mommas just hatched a bunch of little fluffballs, not sure how many yet, or even what colours I might have. Drake is black and white, both ducks are white. Ducklings are everything from straight yellow to yellow and very dark. Hope I get some browns and blues in there.

Im really worried about charlie everyone, her feather are getting shorter and we are cutting them, she use to have feathers near her tail but theyre shorter now, anyone know what is causing this

guys something bad happened! Axel cornered Charlie into the small cage and he attacked her, ripping her feathers off, she has blood coming from her neck and tail, half her tail is missing. I'm glad lulu was barking bc last time axel killed our chicken, lulu warned us by barking but we didnt get there in time. Charlie is in shock but she is staying strong, i hope she lives because she is my baby and i love her so much! Im getting rid of the dog now, he and lulu are going, ive had charlie since she was a week old and now she is a year and 3 months old

I think that the two are often mistaken for each other, but a Lavender actually carries a lavender gene. While a "lilac" is a combination of blue and chocolate genes, and they can often be sort of 'calico' colored.
