But if you keep a blue male you have a possibility of getting lavender that is if there is chocolate some where in the line, along with the same possibility of getting cream
hmmm... this is soo tricky :D I also have a silver,lavender or cream (don't know yet he is not feathered out and i am just bad at theese colouring terms, lol) young drake that i consider keeping... maybe i'll keep that one + the black ? Sorry for all the questions but since there are so many muscovy lovers here i thought there will be good answers:)
 
I love it when people ask questions and it means we can all help each other :) Muscovy lovers have to stick together XD, and if you keep both remember at very least two females to each male :)

Personally I would keep a blue drake. Black over silver hens will give your more blues. Blue over silver will give you blues and silvers. Silver and chocolate will give you buffs and blue fawns.
 
Actually you will only get lavender if your birds carry the gene. It can't be created from blues two blue genes gives you a silver.
