Muscovy keepers share your pics!

Good news on the duck Homefront. My buddy duck is doing great. I still have him separated as he seems to look different about the beak maybe that's why the siblings picked on him. Physically, he's fine.

My stoved up duck seems to be doing better. He eats and drinks fine. Stays home while the others are out during the day. He seems to sit reared back on his bottom. Kinda strange but he's fine.

I need a better watering solution. I have a metal crock galvanized only not really... It gets sour really quick. I have a pool for my second momma and baby set. Buddy duck, (the weird beak) has a large bowl. The others free range to the creek.

They will all be free ranged when they're big enough. Maybe not buddy. I worry about him.

Poor special little Buddy Duck, sounds so cute

I have a soft spot for the misfit toys

Hi everyone! I have two adult female Muscovites and one male, plus their 18 babies, hatched in late June (about 12 weeks, will be butchering soon). The mothers never started laying again but they all free range together and at night share the same pen with 2 guineas and 4 chickens. Is it normal for the females not to lay with their babies still with them? Was hoping for two sets of ducklings this summer, but they are no longer breeding.

I've found that if I separate they mom's from the baby's they will start laying within a few weeks.. I do it with my turkeys and ducks if I want more eggs from them..

Ha ha, kinda! I been out trying to look at my ducklings legs...lol I think I may have two out of the 6 that are males. The other four of the second clutch are too small yet.

Thank you

The latest on my birds...so the one in the front is much larger than the rest, as well as the white one. I'm thinking 2 boys and 2 girls??
