Can someone tell me about the boys and molting?
My drake is molting plenty . I've noticed him not mounting his regular girls.
Now I have a pekin girl laying and he's not interested at all.
And I want to hatch her eggs.
When they molt do they calm down on the mating?
I've heard of ducks shedding their "male parts", I'm assuming muscovy males do too??
Maybe a part of molting?

It's always hard to tell from somebody else's photos but my experience, easiest early tell would be those that look bigger than others and turn up having bigger feet are males, until their voice changes (males " hiss", females keep their soft quack) then you'll definitely know who is what the least, then you'll see females somewhat stand with their chest higher and males have theirs lower

Do any of these look like girls or do I have all boys?

Males are larger than the females another way is looking at their legs males look like they're walking on logs while the females have a more slender legs

I got my new kids outside with the flock today. From the way my others birds are acting towards them, it looks like they are boys.
