this is Kiss Me Daffy at three weeks. chocolate tipped body fluff. Looks like a dusky gene maybe.
He is proud of himself and is very outgoing. Top view to show newbies the shape of tail and yellow tipped small wings.
This guy grows right before my eyes. Bigger in the morning than the night before and still bigger this afternoon. Feathers are like armour so thick and strong. Funny how blue the beak is. Must be genes.

We went out this morning to 10 dead. I'm sure it was the 40 degree temps this morning. I thought the mommy would keep the, warm in the house we have for them. I'm just sick....

I'm so sorry for your loss. The momma should have kept them warm enough. How many do you have left?

We now only have one and he is acting sickly.. I don't understand it except the cold. I did get dumor chick starter. It had more protein than the one with the grower. They had eat it since the 10th.

Was that maybe it?

Maybe having so many mom just wasn't able to cover them all and they chilled.My Muscovy duck mamas are not near as attentive of their ducklings as my mama hens are of their chicks. I don't think the feed would have anything to do with it unless it is moldy. Do you have the lil one inside where it's warm.. do you have any poultry vitamins?

I have it on a heating pad right now in front of a fire place but he sing eating or drinking. He is still peeping for momma in between naps. He acts kinda drowsy.

Can you bring mama inside too? I know it might be a pain but it may help to reunite them. As long as she acts like she wants to be with the duckling.

I am heart sick for you but listen you did not know she wouldn't keep them warm I have seen it with my scovy mamas some are just not as attentive as some of the others. How do you know sometimes till it's too late.

I don't have any vitamins. I have tried to dipping beak, he shakes it off. I did do the syringe gently. He is still peeping some.

He just too,some water off my finger a couple times! Yay. I'm more hopeful now. I'm gonna just keep him warm and try to hydrate. Hopefully he will feel like eating.
