I don't want this nice thread to close.

I understand that at winter people don't take many pics of their ducks. btw how is weather overthere? we still have plenty of sunshine and my drake is in a raping mood, poor girls. at least he stopped chasing the young ones.

It's not too bad where I live yet, low 25*F this morning, All my Muscovy's are just hanging out together I'm sure my girls are enjoying the winter break from the drakes attention. I know I am.

That's good your drake is now leaving the young girls alone. Don't you have a winter?

Looks like summer but I know looks are deceiving what are your lowest temps in winter? Nice pics
30 f but rarely and night time only. usually 32-34 night time and 40+ daytime. there is always a week or more with 36-40 day time. january is the coldest month. today we had around 62 f.

Nice weather then. I can handle those temps and what we're having now even the low 20's and 30's-40's for highs but it's those single digits that are hard to bare. We've had it pretty good so far but they say Jan and Feb will be rough but hey that's winter and so much closer to spring.

I guess both people and animals get used to cold.

do you think my ducks will lay at winter as well with such temperatures?

Hi guys, wanna ask something...my french white muscovy ducklings already grown their feather..the problem is..one of the ducklings like to peck and pull out the feather of others..is the behavior normal for french white muscovy ducklings? I already separated them from the dukclings that love to pull out and eat the feathers.
