Muscovy keepers share your pics!

Have you guys had any muscovy eggs this season yet? My ones are mating like stupid but still waiting for eggs...
Mine have only been mating a few weeks but no eggs here. The day light is getting longer though so I expect them any time.

It is only cosmetic @kenji92
it will not hurt him unless he gets his wings caught on things so clipping is an option it will not affect his mating. If you need a diagram for clipping let us know.

Yes please..can i have the clipping diagram for angel wing?..thank you :)

This is for clipping wings to keep from flying but will help keep your drake from catching his wings on fencing etc and hurting himself.

clip only the feathers that are green and yellow

I got my first muscovy egg today!!! I think she must have read our conversation lol
I collected it though and tomorrow morning I'm gonna replace it with a plastic one as we have frosts now.

Well, it must be catching, because I was greeted with a single duck egg inside their coop when I let them out this morning. Where's the best place to keep them until there's enough to hatch?

Here is a pic of a few of my crew "snowbathing". I have 3 hens and 2 drakes. I need to get rid of one of the drakes, but I just can't decide which one. They're BOTH so pretty! I do have what I think is a barred duck. Could someone let me know what color she is? Both of my drakes are black, my other two ducks are chocolate, and then there's this little one. (Don't tell the others, but she is also my favorite because she has the best personality lol.)

I've only had 'scovies since October, but I'm smitten with them. I can't wait until spring and eggs and BABIES!!

So my babies were doing great. I have had them outside with my bantams and they were doing well. I wake up to snow this morning and six dead ducklings. I can't wait to move out of here and get my birds away from this crazy weather. It's heartbreaking.

Too cold for them? So sorry for your loss.
