Muscovy keepers share your pics!

Ok I have this great Muscovy mother. So her babies hatched 2 days ago. I've given her Muscovy babies
During the day and she takes them all.
So I thought I'd pop some Pekins with her.
She knew the difference. I didn't do it at night because she's always taken during the day before (muscovies)
Do muscovies take other duck babies?

Yes, but if not given very close to hatch or at hatch some will reject

So don't give them together?
I tried last night and the babies were following her this am,
But she DID NOT want them . She singled them out and pecked at them.

We had a storm last yesterday and SOOOOO MUCH water in the brook!
I assume, my duck decided to go for a swim. And I didn't see her since! She must have been taken by the current as it was reaaaaalllllly strong!
Now I have 13 eggs left in the nest and no one to brood them...
Tomorrow first thing in the morning they are going in the incubator

Poor duck I hope she makes her way home.

My male Muscovy took to three baby wood ducklings someone dumped off in winter.. But he could never get them to follow him out of water in morn, n one cold morn they froze when he went to get relieve female from her nest (nothing but me was allowed near his eggs or ducklets, puppies, kittens, bunnies, chicks, as he would look after anything he could herd up, when he was on duty). A pair of bobcats got him defending eggs and female this winter. He has two daughters and a son now of age.
