Muscovy keepers share your pics!

Janet only had 4 eggs. She was off the nest this afternoon so I checked. We took her eggs and we're going to get rid of that mess in the firepit. Every time we pick up her eggs she finds a neat somewhere else. So I'll just hope the next nest will be in a better location.

Egg number ten today for my scovy. The nest is lined with down almost all the way around but not sitting yet. I think she has a few more eggs to lay until she sits but it's gunna be in the 60's and 70's all weak instead of like the 20's and 30's like the last few weeks. So I think this week is the weak. Soo excited!!!!! She is 10-11 months old so is her first Tim going broody. Wonder how it'll turn out?!

Can you pen her somewhere that you know is safe for a nest? I unsuccessfully moved a Pekin nest once but then chances she would have stayed the distance weren't great to start. I moved a Swedish successfully but it was just from the ground to an elevated box in the pen. Good luck to Janet

@ameliadanielle I guess I am lucky that my girls chose to nest in the houses I provided for them I just kept moving their eggs to where I wanted them Lol, I have found that Rubbermaid type bins with doors cut in the side to be popular , or anything similar . I have a three hole nest box made out of a shelf I had made into a rabbit cage covered with a tarp to be good too, if you have somewhere you can set up a nest for her, you can mark some older eggs and put them in it to encourage her
