Muscovy keepers share your pics!

You can't tell very well, but this is how everyone lined up when a large storm blew in unexpectedly. The center 3 are our new adolescents, just now coming into their adult feathers. and one more of Francis, he's the one in the top right with his head cropped off in the picture above.
Beautiful colours you have there! I only have blue pied, apart from two babies which are black pied. If anyone is looking for blue pied babies I am willing to swap for fresh genetics to going our flock! Chocolates would be nice

You lil scovy's are precious are they yours or feral scovy's that nest in your yard.

Miss Lydia...I got a call from my neighbor down the road on 7/7. He has a LOT of Feral Muscovies in his yard and by his pond. He said he had an abandoned nest on his porch and asked if I could try to save them. I brought them home. Only one viable egg. I didn't have a functioning incubator so I placed the eggs and hatchlings in a plastic bin...placed a heat lamp over the top...filled an empty baby wipes container with very warm water for humidity and covered with 2 blankets leaving an opening for the heat lamp. The viable egg needed assistance on the 3rd day. Assisted with small chipping away of the shell. Thank God, it was successful! I've ALWAY wanted some Muscovies, so now these little ones have a permanent home with me.

That is so cool you were able to hatch them. I have never tried on my own, i get my scovy's to hatch, but I understand it isn't that easy to hatch them.

Congrats they are so precious and I see your going to have a barred. your yellow with blk on the tail .

I know NOTHING about ducks. Two of the babies had just hatched prior to me bringing them home.
There were 5 eggs, but only one viable after candling.
I really am completely surprised that this one little duckling made it here with my makeshift Warmer/Humidifier!
