Muscovy keepers share your pics!

Four foot roof overhang, inch hardware cloth, change daily water, feed only daily what will eat before dark.. taking up food n water at dark. only way to keep most of contagions from song birds out of coops found, though oddly with all ailments songbirds bring they've never given my scobies more than runny noses, messy butts, temp hack, and staph bumbles when first got scovies of one group. Everything else bleh besides them n guinea when song birds migrated through. Rodents and insects infect carrying also to lot lesser degree temp.

All poultey keeper in the UK have been ordered to keep their birds indoor (under roof) for 30 days starting on 6th of December. Geese have been exempt for some reason interestingly!
Hopefully it's all gone soon. We don't want it to spread. So far the disease have been recorded once in the UK - on a Christmas turkeys farm - no Christmas for them this year. 5000 turkeys gone... they said most died of the disease and the rest have been destroyed.
Terrible...
I just hope no one else gets it

@amir khn all you really need is some nice soft bedding and a way for the female to be separated from the rest of her flock and she'll do the rest.

Make sure it's inside a secure coop so she is safe while brooding and hatching.

@country-boy what country are you in? if the UK follow their guide lines. I don't think anything is going on in the USA right now I haven't heard of any out breaks recently.

Make sure you keep your flock safe by limiting anyone from coming in the area where you keep your birds especially if they have birds themselves. Make sure to keep wild birds out of your feeders. I had to keep putting out wild bird feeders to keep them from eating out of my flocks feeders.

They say to change your shoes so your not wearing shoes you wore to feed store in where you keep your birds. Hand washing is also important.

well do you think i should lock them up ?? under a roof or something ?
Mine aren't lock up except at night. I am in the USA. Mine have access to half acre daily to forage in. so really unless you have some kind of warning about your birds I'd just keep doing what your doing. Keep them away from wild water fowl also.
