Hey guys Neptune keeps getting foam in his eye. Respiratory? Happened a few time last couple months normally a day or two than gone but we're on day three and he had it last week in one eye this week both of them. Rest of the flock is clear. Anything I should be doing?

Are you putting any ACV into their water buckets? and does he wash his face? some scovy's don't. usually foamy eye is from not washing their faces off several times a day. If after putting some ACv into their buckets you might want to pick up some Veterycin spray and try rinsing his eyes out with it just spraying should help. How is he other wise eating socializing? !-2 Tab of ACV to gal of fresh water.

They haven't been going in creek as much as normal because its so high and fast I think but he has tubs and puddles but I haven't actually seen him clean up lately. I dont have ACV in water but I have it on hand for their FF so I'll put some in. And I'll add the medicine to the first aid kit. Otherwise he is great and acting normal. I was late with the morning scratch and he found me and yelled at me today lol.

It may just be he needs to do some washing up. I keep mulitiple buckets of water out for mine so they can wash when ever they please and I use ACV in their bucket at least 2x a week it is also a good tonic for them. Sounds like he is normal in every other way.

x2 on @Miss Lydia's advice...I have one drake, in particular, who gets a foamy eye when it's too cold for the plastic pools to be out (and I have multiple plastic water pails with vinegar-splashed water in them all the time). As soon as the pools come out and he can bathe, the eye clears up.
