Im not having very good luck lately. Usps lost entire box of chicks last week. Still don't know what happened to it. Anyone know of where else I can find Muscovy babies?

I have to get hubby to let me get my own incubator. Or if my girls go broody I can order eggs for them right? Just wont have a great hatch rate? I have a friend doing some eggs from my frizzled group of Bantams for me but I can't do those together I dont think?

They are pretty! All of the Muscovy I've gotten have been adults but I really wanted to hand raise some so they might be a little more relaxed with me. We'll see my guys will have babies I'm sure and still hoping Als Quackery will have extras sometime this year. Wanted to have a flock with every color and right now i just have black pied, blue pied, brown pied, and white.

That's terrible, and why I never have and never will get shipped chicks. I get hatching eggs instead. Craigslist is a good source to find chicks, and Muscovy ducklings.

Why get an incubator you have Muscovy female don't you? Give em time you'll have some broody's and as many ducklings as you want!!

Muscovies are crazy. They want babies, they will go broody.
I've read Muscovy eggs are hard to incubate, and mama ducks do a better job of it. I don't know, though, as I've always just stuck eggs under a Muscovy and let her hatch them.
