Thank you. I'm definitely feeling better!
My girl the brooded in the chicken coop is trying again. This time she is trying to take my chickens favorite nesting box. Which is causing problems. Her babies aren't even all gone yet. My super mom Venus has started watching all of the babies. Her and one of my boys. 8 more leaving tomorrow!

I have a few super moms/co-mamas. One of my girls turned her babies over to the other and is trying to sit again, lol.
Here is Mighty Duck. I thought he was a gonner this morning but he's thriving tonight.

I have a broody scovy who thinks she is going to sit on nothing since I keep taking her eggs, I think tonight I'll put Opie in with her and let him break her of being broody. I put him in with her the other evening and she wanted out of the small coop real bad. lol
[she loves him and he her she just doesn't want company]

That's too funny.. put a man in bed with her and she'll get out quick, lol. Add to his long distinguished list of talents... 'Opie the broody breaker.'

So I have 12 females building their nests and 2 incubators filled with eggs. My Little Giant has 41 eggs and Cheap Chinese has 27 eggs. Going to be flooded in babies!

I was going to give Opie another chance in the big coop but he wanted to grab every young chicken as they came in the door[hormones] so off to the lil coop he went, good thing too because when I got him there Hope was all snuggled into her nest WITH the door wide open she would have been supper for someone.

She protested but he stayed.

I sell them at animal swaps and to locals.

My boyfriend and I just got six Muscovy ducklings from a friend yesterday they are soooo tiny and cute!!!!!!
