If anyone in east TN has chocolates, drake or hen, I'm looking to buy some!! I've got 3 hens left. A FOX got one (its dead too) and a racoon just got another, in the process of trying to get it trapped.
All 8 eggs hatched! And I got her moved to the floor without incident. She took them outside today.

How compatible are Muscovies and chickens? Sorry I'm learning about Muscovies so sorry if I'm ignorant.
Very I'd say. My muscovies live with my chickens and one is even very bonded to a group of Cornish cross pullets lol. Quackers spends almost all day milling around with them, wherever they go.
Cosmo, Ebony, and Cocoa with the chickens and turkeys. I don't have any pictures of Quackers with her buddies yet.
My muscovy and chickens go back and forth as far as who's chasing who. They tolerate each other well, and for the most part ignore each other, but an occasional peck or goose is quite normal behavior between the species.
