Ok experts, I need color help! I think a lot of my originals were this color when they were young, but now look mostly white. I don't have any that are actually white, but they fade out to look mostly white. Is this what silver looks like before their first molt?
I have a couple more that I circled in the next picture, are they the same color? they look slightly different in person, but are maybe just a varient of the same color? The black circle seems to have a blue tint to the tail, and the red circle doesn't.
You can see one of the hens here, and how she looks white, I think they also somewhat have silky feathers? They always look rough and break off and drape over the side like that. The majority of mine look like that, but not as ducklings?
Is this one in the middle a blue fawn (lilac?) It's a light blue with quite a bit of brown tones in the chest.
Sorry these were taken around sunset so everything is slightly warmer/oranger than in real life. I can take some more if it helps. The lady I got all my adults from thought that buff was an option for some of them, but all the ones that looked like the lower duckling in this last picture fade to white. Mt adults are 1 blue drake, 2 what I think are silver drake, one chocolate hen, the weird colored ones that look white now and like these as ducklings, and some what I think are blue fawn (lilac?), but have been told are just another varient of blue, but I have my suspicions on the accuracy of that.
There are some gorgeous ducks in this thread, and makes me want many more colors!
