I tried giving them peas, I've never seen a duck that didn't LOVE peas. They don't like them, at all. I might try watermelon. They're very nice and friendly, not skittish. But also just uninterested in me. I really like them, and just need to find some treat they will love. I don't want to clip their wings unless I have to. I wonder what color babies they will have?

She's just gorgeous! My Muscovies also don't care much for the peas btu they do Love Watermelon! Hopefully that will work for you.

Thansk! I don't know enough about Muscovies to know all the colors. I think they'll have some interesting babies, I might keep another hen. These are mostly to raise meat birds for us, and eat bugs and stuff. Depending on how well we like the meat, and how many we get next year, I might keep another female. Her coloring is very pretty, it shines with different colors in the light. I will try for better pics today, those were on my phone.

I had a beautiful Chocolate pied hen name Jenga that I lost to a predator early this year. she was by far one of my favorite girl, her coloring was just beautiful. Luckily, one of my other hens hatched me a very pretty little chocolate pied duckling that ended up being a girl. she's still young but i will be keeping her

I Mentioned earlier in this thread that I had got a pair ( or maybe it was a trio..) of Moscovies, but they ran/flew away

Well I got some more!! I went to an auction a few weeks ago and bought 1 pair and an extra drake. My pair got killed by a coyote ( Along with my white crested drake, and 3 pekin hens

) but I still have my drake.
He is soo pretty!!

(would he be called a Blue Pied?)

I'd want to call your drake a blue mottled though "mottled" isn't a official pattern. Some might call it "splash".
