Hey elmacri - cute babies you got there! But I've had alot of scovie babies and I don't think thats what you have there - maybe a cross though? The beaks alot different on that close up. Do you know how old they are?
I've got a couple of pics to maybe compare of day olds to week olds I think they were, but I couldn't find any that are great close ups sorry
These guys were day olds

Hope these baby scovie pics help! Next time I'll record dates
Yes i agree they do look different. I think now they are around the 3/4 week mark although its hard to tell as the farm shop where i buy then have no idea, i ask what type and they just say brown, white or maybe black.lol they have no idea. Its not normal for many people in this part of Spain to keep ducks so they only ever have a few in. Whatever they are they are much tamer then any others i have had from there and there beaks are very different. I am guessing i will have to wait and see
Thanks for the piccies though, they are so lovely.
Thanks!
No matter what yours are, I'm sure they'll be beautiful ducks - plus if you get a hen you may be able to ship in fertalised eggs of any breed, as I know some people do, and add to her nest
Keep us updated as they get older, it'll be interesting to see what they turn out like - and once they are growing up a bit I'm sure people on here will be able to make educated guesses on their breed
