Can anyone tell me if pair-bonding can start as young as 4 weeks? Dewy & Louie are together ALL the time, even when Huey goes off on his own. Louie & Huey are both larger so I was thinking they may be males & Dewy maybe a female.

(Dewy is the brown one, Huey is the larger of the other two)

Thoughts?

Is it possible to sex Muscovy at all before they are fully grown?
(Excepting when they are very tiny)

I would like to find another muscovy drake and hatch some babies, but I've not found one yet, so maybe soon! Also she is an older duck and I was wondering if anyone knew how long she would lay eggs??

Here's a couple of my pictures. I recently lost most of my ducks to loose dogs

I have a fondness for the solid colors but have a very hard time finding them that do not have pied in their linage. I have seen them. None close to me nor that ship of course but I have a harder time finding them that I thought I would.
