Muscovy keepers share your pics!

I have had a pair of muscovy ducks over a year now. No eggs as of yet. They seem normal but I wonder whats wrong she hasnt laid even one egg yet. .
I thought I had 2 female ducks till noticing the two ducks together made me wonder if she could be a he without the usual turned up tail feather most male ducks have. Sure enough the huge one is male. When should a muscovy start laying?

first of all muscovy dont have curled tails for either sexes. they should start laying from 7 months.

As for the "ugly Muscovy" thing,I remember my pops' buddy,(who is a big hunter guy), teasing me when he first heard I got a Muscovy that they are those really ugly ducks. Then he saw Daisy & told me how she was a very pretty duck & that she was very well behaved. He said he'd never seen a Muscovy like that. I guess the wild ones look different?
They are addictive,though!
What a face..

I'm here nothing yet but woah.. there are some seriously dark eggs under Lilly and Lilac .. the girls got into a fight last night!

So clearly tensions are high. I am fairly positive the other two eggs under Lilac are duds(the original ones that were Lilly's) but i am hoping the 3 we added produce something and i will likely pull the other two, i did mark them so i knew which they were.

Dusty(juniors mum) is trying to brood in the doghouse.. i peek in there and she's all tucked in the back with junior sitting in front? seriously, really? I am apprehensive about the L's hatching, i worry they will just die... just not feeling the excitement like before..

My first girls starting laying at 4mths. Drake in 'scovies are BIG .. big legs, feet and they only hiss.. the ducks are more petite usually have less facial flesh and make a variety of noises.. trilling, cooing, quacking etc... however turned up tail feathers are not a trait of Muscovy gender identification, they are not mallard derived ducks.

Can you post a pic?

Oh my gosh, fighting, sounds like my chicken mamas, I sure hope some ducklings appear after all ya'll have gone through. 2 of Alices eggs were getting dark on the outside of the shell so I got those out because i was afraid they would blow in the nest. and Dusty broody again? wow I know what you mean about the excitment dwindling, Okay lets get this one over with Alice and let it be over for this year already.. I am worn out form just the stress of it all. Keeping my fingers crossed for ya, and waiting to hear about my gosling that should be arriving Thurs or friday.

Just had to show some updated photos of my ducklings. The three light colored ones are the ones I have been keeping to find out the color.

The middle duckling is white with blue eyes and a couple of black spots on its head. The one behind it, I am not sure of its color.
Maybe silver? I think they are both boys.

I think the two blue pied are girls. The other one I think is a boy and still not sure of the color.
