Muscovy lifespan

If cared for well, about how long will a Muscovy lay and how long will its entire lifespan be? I've searched and I can't find even an estimate. I have 6-year-old girls that are still prolific layers. I'm quite pleased. I've heard most chickens won't lay for longer than three years.

Mine continue to lay. I cannot recall what year exactly they were hatched, but I believe my older 2 hens are 10-12 years old.

Average lifespan for most ducks is between 10-15 years.

Here was another forum about laying length. The consensus seems to hover around 7-9 years.

Cool, thanks. My dad was wondering if it was time to butcher the old ladies. As long as they keep laying, nope. I'm glad I can expect at least one or two more years with them. I do have a few that I will just have to keep until they die of old age, I love them too much!

Why to just buther them..they have given so much to u cant u give them some free life no work just pets *my view
