After a couple years of taking away all the girls eggs to focus on my geese,
I've left the duck eggs in the 2 community nests this spring.
Here's my silver girl (giving me the evil eye) setting on about 30 eggs!
They scoop out a deep bowl shaped nest and somehow cover all those eggs with their little bodies.
I think I will go in there and throw out about 10 eggs out of each nest.
Might have some 2012 pairs for sale this fall after 2 years of no Muscovy sales.
Mostly blue fawns (AKA lilacs) and few chocolates and pastels.

Pretty girl! I to have a Muscovy sitting on a nest.. I have no idea how many eggs are under her.. this is second attempt her first failed.. so should be interesting to see if we get anything.
