Muscovy nesting habits

I just got 3 female and 1 male muscovy. They are laying. How big/ what type of nesting box do they need?

Depends where are they, a coop, outside durin the day inside coop at night, or just outside all the time( which mine are)

If they're in a coop ive realized a litter box with a lid is sometimes good to use, sometimes if you place something like a wide bush in the pen they'll lay under that, a garbage can with some pine straw in it is good, sometimes they'll even lay inside a tire it really depends on the duck, one time one of mine laid in a dog house in the back yard ( they like to go where they no there not supposed to go)

If there outside during the day then they won't lay they like to lay where they know there safe which would be the coop

If there outside they make pick natural place to nest

I give my ducks a bit of privacy with scrap pieces of board
