Muscovy not laying

Hi,
I hatched out some muscovies back in December. That would mean that they are about 6.5 months old. All the ducks I have left are one male and one female. The male is very interested in the female but she doesn't seem to respond at all and she is still not laying eggs. Is this normal? When should she lay eggs. It's winter where I am so I don't know if that'll make a difference

More than likely you'll not see eggs till spring My Muscovy's have always laid the year after they were hatched. Like if they hatched in May this year they will lay next spring, I don't even see mating here from them till the next spring.
