Muscovy question

One of our muscovy ducks has what looks like a rash on her neck. We had a huge possum on the porch a little over a week ago when she was nesting and thought he may have bitten her, but it hasnt healed up and now it looks more like raised bumps. Any ideas or suggestions?

Oh, I don't know if you need this information, but she and her 2 female companions are free range with a pond and about 3-4 years old. They are not tame enough to touch, but they do come close to us.

Thank you.

I'm wondering if the other Muscovies are mounting her. The back of the neck is where they grab on during mating. Females will mount other females if there is no drake.

That looks too low for it to be due to mating... unfortunately I can't offer any other ideas as to why she has that injury. Something could have grabbed her, it could have been a squabble within pecking order, she could have gotten too close to a hen that's broody. Muscovy's while broody can be vicious. (Speaking from experience of my Muscovy hen attacking her drake and drawing blood)
