Was just wondering at what age can you tell the sex of a muscovy? My uncle and I bought 7 that are 3/4 grown, so I was told, and they all look like hens, which is what I'm hoping for, I can post pics tomorrow if that will help, thanks for any input.

Pics will help alot, but drakes will be alot bigger than the ducks, they will have thick legs, girls slimmer and the boys will make a rasping sound girls will trill. Congrats on you new ducks! and Muscovy even better.

The three white ones in the back are full grown, one male and two hens I believe. Its the other small white one, the chocolate and the silver bared one I'm curious about, thanks.

Yup. If they are the same age, the left white is male and the rest female. Lucky you, I ended up with 5 drakes and 1 duck. (They really need a smiley rolling it's eyes)

Every breed except muscovies. They are a separate species altogether. Everything else is derived from mallards and will have the drake feather present.

Thank you. I knew muscovies didn't, but then I got to thinking and couldn't remember if they were the only ones or not. Thanks again
