I only have about 10-12 Muscovy right now, need to butcher 2 huge young males so that should bring be down to 10 but I have a few odd girls stuck in other places so I haven't counted in a while.

I love my Muscovy! I still would love to have lavender and blue but can't seem to get my hands on any. I wanted the same pair that DuckGirl89 was talking about! They sounded perfect but we could not get it all together. Bummer!

I have chocolate pieds and black pieds with one black lady. These are such cool ducks. They were laying up until a few days ago. And 2 were trying to go broody but I would not let them this time of year.

I am very interested in a club and would join but other than that I have no idea how to help organize and run one.

I'm experienced with chickens, but not ducks. I've been wanting Muscovies so maybe this will motivate me. How many ducks to one drake, or do they pair up as couples? If ducklings are ordered from a hatchery, will the ducks still be broody (with chickens most likely not)?
Also, will the ducks roost with chickens in the same coop at night? Thanks in advance!

Yes, That is also what I had heard.

I have also talked to many people about why muscovy ducklings arent shipped much, I talked to John Metzer himself and he let me know exactly what I had thought, He told me it isnt anything to do with hatching or not being able to keep them, It is that the ducklings dont ship well. I have heard from people who have bought ducklings from some of the select places that send ducklings and some have had problems with ducklings being dead, but then again some have had great success.

I will never ship ducklings because of this reason.
