Ok so I need a list of things I need to start mushing in 2years. I need tips on training to. I live in Kansas. So any recommended breeds? I live on 5 acres, I have poultry and rabbits. I have inside dogs, but my team can NOT live in side. My team I'm hoping will be between 5-6 dogs. 1-2 males and 4-5 females. I want a male Aussie, a male sib. Husky. And 3sib. Females but I might get a femal lab or two. But I need tips and info. And recommendations.

for were you live, i would recommend sporting breeds. labs, bird dogs, etc. they are great for urban mushing and most do well in the snow.

That's what I was thinking I'll still have 2huskys both female but. Yea, so maybe 1 lab, 1aussie, 2sib, 2germanshorthaired pointers. (1male, 1female) I don't know I have time to figure it out. Lol.

yep that sounds good. you couldn't race them because they are uniform but for a joy team they would be great.

this website and websites like it bug the heck out of me. theses people have NO IDEA WHAT THEY ARE TALKING ABOUT!!!

if you are a actual musher then you would know that sled dogs are the happiest dogs in the world! They LIVE to pull and run. duh they are going to be tired after a training run! THIS DRIVES ME CRAZY!!!!!

not every musher is the cold, heartless, jerk, uncaring, dog-hates they say we are.

and whips are mostly used as a starting signal not to hit the dogs.
