Mushy Chick??? Or no?

This is my first hatch and we were so excited to see some babies arrive! This little one has a protruding abdomen with a blue tiny and has stuff hanging from the navel area. Is this mushy chick? Or late yolk absorption? Will the baby survive?

i would say give it a few days could be yolk absorption as far as the navel stuff it should fall off in a few hours

Thank you! At least that gives me some hope. I was so sad thinking she(wishful thinking) wouldn't make it. I'll keep a close eye on her!

make sure to keep it in the incubator until the embilical cord comes off

Yes!! Thank you for asking! She did fine and absorbed by the end of the day. Here she is now with her sister
