Musicians and Rockers!!!

Yeah, the drums are fun (at least they are in my opinion

), but my arms do get tired. Especially my right arm after playing eight songs. What about the guitar? Is that fun?
Is the right arm more active in playing songs? Yeah, I love playing the guitar. Sometimes the tips of my fingers on my left hand will hurt (from pressing down on the strings so much), but hearing what comes out of it and the excitement of playing a song outweigh it by far.
Ive played music off and on since the age of 8 years old. Self taught. Out of playing, bass, guitar and piano I would have to say piano is the funnest. I also love making industrial music on music programs like Reason.

Just recently I learned how to play Thom Yorke's Analyse.
Cool! Glad you joined this thread! The most I know how to play on the piano is "Mary had a Little Lamb", so that's cool that you go way beyond that!

So do you mean you write songs?

I do make songs. I used to play in punk and metal bands from age 16 - 23. Now that I dont live in los angeles anymore, (michigan) the music scene here isnt so popular so I just play in my basement out of boredom.

I would have to say Ive had some awesome times in my early twenties. Ill be turning 31 this month

Yes, the stronger hand is more active because you use it to keep time with the hi-hat and other cymbals. I'm right-handed, so my right arm gets tired sometimes while drumming.

It's nice to see another punk here. :) That's cool that you've written songs. I've tried, but I always get blocked. :/

That sounds fun! Metal is some of my favorite. Once I learn more on the guitar I want to try to create some nice guitar solos. I've got some lyric ideas, but I'm not sure whether they're good or not, so I'll just see if in a couple months I think they're good or bad. Just giving myself time to think it over.

Nice! Punk is great ;) You must have had some inspiration to get into punk and metal. What were your favorite bands growing up?

Anyone here?

I originally planned on practicing my guitar last night, but I was so busy I didn't even realize I was about to take a bath- at 10:00! Hopefully I can practice it tonight, because I feel 'incomplete' without it.
