Yes I just worry how the one female was poking her beak through the chicken wire when the baby got close enough and in an aggressive way. I wonder if she jealous or something?

today I lifted the chicken wire so the female could get closer to the babies and she right away went to attack the baby. The mom and I intervened and I got the female away. It’s so disappointing because I don’t know what to do now…..

Just keep them separated until they are bigger and can defend themselves or get away easily. Eventually she will calm down.

I've got several muscovies including multiple males. Mine are all together although some hang out in places others don't.
My females usually hide their nests and sometimes I don't even know they are setting somewheres until they show up with babies.
I've never had issues with multiple clutches per season except the occasional hen wanting to steal babies from another hen.
