Caleb grinned triumphantly and Wildfire. He knew this wasn't goodbye,he would probably see him again. Caleb continued to try and make the peace. He went up to Skylar,head down,asking if he could mate.

Billy put his head in the water andnosed the water hard. It made a big wave,trying to splash her.

Jake stood at a comfortable distance,about twenty five feet away. He stood,alert,never taking his eyes of Tempest.

Tempest could still see Jake, despite trying to hide from view. He kept moving, so she stayed in his sight. She couldn't worry about that. She squealed, and with a great push, a foal dropped to the ground behind her.

Tempest heard the stud's proud whinny and nickered in agreement. Turning around, she licked her foal's face until it squeaked and took a breath. Soon, it began its first attempts to stand, its dam keeping a close watch.
