Ben squeaked imputently. "I did not! I was just playing! PRETEND!"

As Tempest listened, she shivered, not from cold, but fear. This snow didn't sound good at all. "And...how does one find food if it's covered by this...'snow' stuff?"

At her side, Tornado squirmed impatiently. His dam was blocking his view of Jake.

Monsoon snorted but consented and moved back, letting Caleb take the lead.

Unable to resist, Typhoon reached out and nipped her sister's rump. Monsoon kicked weakly and kept walking.

Jake snorted. "It kills most of the food if it is deep enough. But usually you can paw it off the food."

Caleb set a hard pace,trying to beat the storm. He saw a small band of trees close together. They wern't the best,but they would block most of the wind and chill.

Peanut trotted along wearily. Popcorn looked at her. "Serves you right for fighting!"
