Tempest woke slowly, finding that she'd been more tired than she'd realized. Climbing to her feet, she shook the sleepy feeling from her body then glanced at Jake and Beauty. The strawberry roan didn't look pleased to find them nuzzling each other.
Jake gave Beauty a nuzzle before walking over and cautiously moving his nose forward at Tempest "Did you sleep well? Is somthing wrong?"
"No, not really. Not at first." Tempest grumbled. She hadn't slept well when she'd first fallen asleep. She'd dreamed of Jake, and Beauty and herself; what would they do now? She snorted angrily, daring him to touch her. "I'm fine. Go back to your mare."
Jake gave her a mile and nuzzled her. "Don't be grumpy. Girls with beautiful faces shouldn't frown. You are my mare too!"
Tempest stomped a hoof at Jake's touch but didn't bother to kick him. She flicked an ear, apparently overhearing Beauty, and glared at the other mare. "Oh? Decide that while I was asleep, did you?"
