"Monsoon, calm down." Typhoon had finally convinced her twin to stop panicking. "I'm sure it's not as bad as all that."
"How do you know? YOU weren't the one who got jumped on!" Monsoon glared at her sister.

Wildfire didn't make an immediate move. He stood and panted, keeping his eyes on Caleb, grateful for the chance to rest. Breeding took energy, and so did fighting. He'd done both today...more than once.
Tempest opened her eyes and lifted her head. She enjoyed Jake's closeness, and yes, she admitted it, was jealous when he spent more time with Beauty.
