Beauty stayed close to Jake. She nuzzled Jupiter between them so she would be warm. The blizzard was getting worse by the minute. It was so cold her whiskers were frozen!

Jake blew on them all. The storm had subdued,but it was still cold. He shivered. Then he nosed the snow around the foals to keep thier heat contained.

Flame shivered as she felt a contraction. Her eyes grew wide and she flared her nostrils. "Dusty..." She stayed in the water,frozen to the spot.

Tempest shook herself, slinging a soft covering of snow. Tornado lifted his head and squealed. Getting to his feet, he poked his head under Tempest and suckled.

Dusty had not gone far before he heard her. " What's wrong?!" he said, trotting up.

Dusty started to pant. "The foal! It's coming..." Within minuites there were two foals...and they were born in the shallow water! (i know that is not realistic,but it is a fun twist!)

Tempest shook herself, slinging a soft covering of snow. Tornado lifted his head and squealed. Getting to his feet, he poked his head under Tempest and suckled.

Jake touched them to make sure they were okay.

Tempest shook again then took a step forward. Her joints had locked up from the inactivity, and moving was hard. Slowly, the mare plodded along, gaining speed. At her side, Tornado trotted, his legs also stiff.

Lost in the snow, a blue roan was digging through the icy crust for bits of grass. Cerulean was used to snow and knew how to find food.

Dusty stood with his mouth open. " It's a colt! What should we name him?"

Flame looked waerily at the dappled grey colt,then to the pure white filly. She was exhuasted. "Maybe Arroyo (Stream) for the filly and Liquido Barq (Liquid Lightning) does that suit you my love?"
FLame shook herself. (I'll rp the colt if you want You can rp the filly.) (I know they are in spanish and Arabic,two different languages,but I think they sound pretty!)

Jake trotted after them. He nearly fell into the snow. He was very weak from hunger. He nickered to Tempest. "Wait darling. Here is some food."

Tempest had wandered too far ahead to hear or see Jake anymore. Snow or no snow, she had to find food or she and her unborn foal would starve. Tornado bounded along at his dam's side, cold and hungry.
