Mutt contest! ends feb. 10th ~ RESULTS IN!!

Amber is a pretty 6/7mo old pullet fm a Gold Comet hen X EE Roo. I love her coloring and will be interested to see if she molts out darker as she ages. She is a sweet girl.

I have two other EE's that darkened up after their first full adult molt.

When she was a youngster at about 3 weeks old mama decided she had had enough of her and went about her merry way, squirt became super attatched to me and spent the next 3 weeks of her life sleeping my my bed with me. Eventually I weened her from me and she went in with 2 other pullets around the same age as her, now she has 2 Bf's. To this day she comes running to me for a snuggle everytime she sees me

These are Fred (ckrl), George (ckrl), Luna (pullet), and Ginny (pullet). Their mom is a Black Austolorp and their dad is a Light Brahma, sadly, George has developed a cross-beak and soon will not be able to eat

their mom (acorn) laid 10 eggs but only four ever hatched, at first we thought a hawk had gotten acorn (she went missing for a few days) she would come out every few days but we couldn't find her eggs, they ended up being right next to the chicken coop, in our garden! they all have some feathers on their feet, but, not very many, the pullets look like their mom (all black), but, the ckrls look more like the opposite of their dad, with light on dark, instead of dark on light.
