This is Mike's silkie... yep thats her name... she is an EE X Silkie, and we get a dirty blue silkie egg

I just posted his photo on another thread, this is Bruno and he is 8 months old. Cross of an EE hen and RIR roo. Funny thing is his sisters all look like RIRs with a slight orange tint, his mother was grey and white. His dads head is in the corner trying to peck me. Its hard to see in the poor light but his tail feathers are iridescent green like a RIR and the yellow is more of a gold. He shines.

Interesting fact: He was gay as could be.He only wanted to mount my other rooster and ignored my hens, which is why he went to a different farm, I was sick of my RIR beathing him up for the lovin he was a'given.

This is Wonder, she is 5 days old in this pic, her mother was a golden phoenix and her father was a black silkie. Her mother crushed her at day 21 and she almost died.

Interesting fact: These two are kept in a bachelor coop together. They are right next to the main coop, and they act as lookouts for the hens.
