We got 2 mystery chicks off a street vendor in Beijing. No idea what breed.

They are about 10 weeks, though when I see other people's photos, they look comparable to peoples' 5-week olds or something. But they are 10+ weeks old now. Do they look bantam.... or just malnourished? We dont have grower feed here. How much bigger do you think they'll get? We keep them indoors.

One has already showed us some very obvious manliness. The other, though, we hope is a hen. In comparison to one other, she acts like a lady, sitting all the time, fatter, had a tail at like 1 week (our roo just got a tail-like thing maybe in week 8), and behind in comb development, but still her comb is getting disturbingly pink.

So here's BBB, our "lady" who is for the most part slightly offwhite (or just dirty...) and has light brown at the very tips of her back feathers:

And here's her boyfriend, Fififi (Philippe Petit), who is very white except for one single black tail feather and some very faint occasional black tips around his neck.

So, main questions:
1. Breed / sex guess for BB
2. Breed guess for Fifi
3. How much bigger will they get? Are they malnourished?

They could be hybrids, it looks like fififi is a definate cockrel, im unsure about BBB, their size could be relative to the breed as some breeds are much smaller than others although the size doesnt indicate bantam.

what does "hatchery quality" mean? you never know where things come from when you buy things off the street in china, so i'm interested in any thoughts on where they came from. maybe they were sexed rejects from a factory farm ... which would mean 2 roosters. :(

yesterday fifi appeared to try to mount bbb. but that doesn't necessarily rule out the chance of bb being a dude too, i'm guessing....

well, ain't no rule about keeping 2 roosters in the middle of old beijing!

the size depends on what parent genes he inherited he could be small like a japanese bantam or big like a leghorn just depends

oh and hes a rooster because i have like 10 of leghorn japanese mixes and the hens still dont develop their crest mine is the same age as yours
