I'll try and shoot pics soon of the boys here. You'd be surprised at the structure on the lead boy, he looks older even than your number two. I think my two and your two look like very similar body types. Yours has by far the better beak and comb though.

The pics of #2 just do not show his massive size. He's just amazingly huge for his age. Good thing, really. Size and body type are the main things missing in most hatchery Dels. Can't wait to see the pics of the ones you took home with you, Cher, and the others you have, too.

Have you made any attempt to weight #2? I'm real curious what the "this guy is huge" translates to in pounds. I'm not doubting that he is big, but as you say it is hard to get a real feel for how big a chicken is with pictures.

Tim, you are so right! It is very difficult to guage in a photo. I haven't weighed him because my bathroom scales are not accurate at low weights like that. I could maybe take pics of my DH holding him and that might help with perspective some. Geez, I need a good baby scale, dont I?

I got a pretty decent deal on a used electronic gram/pound scale on ebay, Cyn. Maybe you can pick one up sometime. They are darn handy

I may have to look for one at the flea market, Janet. I think it'd help to have one, certainly! I noticed that the #1 boy is catching up to the #2 boy in size! Those two are so handsome. I keep telling them that and I think they're getting swelled heads, LOL

I can't believe they're this big already. It seems like they were just hatched yesterday.

I am amazed at how hefty these guys are at less than 13 weeks old! It does seem like they just hatched.
