My #1 Delaware Boy (PICS/new pics added in posts #28 & #35)

the first group i got are doing great thay are keeping the frig full of eggs , the 2nd group i had bad luck at around 6 to 8 weeks old , went to work gone 8 to 10 hrs came home 2 dogs eat through the plywood roof of the brooder (did not have wire on the roof TO HIGH) AND killed 30 of the 34 i had

Hey Cyn, got some pics of some of the Del boys and girls in among the attempts to get pictures of some of the EE's - the blues are stunning btw. the barring still really shows in the one's tail.

The black barred won't hold still. And the BR pullet, Tinker, is a gem among poultry. Sizzle in smooth and curly also in there LOL.

My first two pick roos wouldn't hold still, silly animals. That one in the third picture is the third ranked boy, comb is why and he's also third in size. I sold him with three of the smaller pullets today.

He'll improve on them with his solid color, they have correct combs, they need better leg color which he'll provide. The buyers aren't as interested in heritage or show quality but they'll work with those and be happy.

And it pays to have the local feed store owners want your birds. Barter rocks.
